I guess you can plug one into a neck loop which connects into a persons hearing aids via telecoil (t-switch). What’s the point though? Would they add additional amplification or something?

I have mild hearing loss in both ears & my audiologist recommends correcting it sooner rather than later with a hearing aid in both ears. I have no insurance, no income, live with my parents & they have low income. Is there anyone that would help cover the cost of me getting hearing aids?

I have a high tone hearing loss and have to read lips alot. Hearing aids are around 00 or more and I cannot afford them. Insurance does not cover them either. Does anyone have any real suggestions? I am already working 60+ hours a week so another job is not an option. Thankyou.

I realize the technology has it’s price but there are almost as many people who wear glasses that also use hearing aids, why is it still 4000 dollars and higher for two pieces of plastic to amplify sound? I call that a rip off.

I am hearing impaired and cannot really afford a new hearing aid, which costs about 5000 for a pair, is there a site or a government agency that provides free funding for individuals that need hearing aids but cannot afford to buy them?
