Sudden, But Constant, Ear Buzzing & Vertigo?
Hi there. 2 days ago my left ear started having a loud buzzing sound in it. I have also been having vertigo pretty bad along with the buzzing. The room will spin and I feel disoriented and dizzy. I got some "ring relief" ear drops but that’s not working, at all. Anyone have any advice? It has a kinda pressure/dull ache too.
I’d like to hear opinions on what caused this and how to remedy it….Thanks!!

Sounds like you need to take a decongestant. I’ve had that very same problem. Try an OTC decongestant. If that doesn’t work, you might have an ear infection so you’ll need to see your doctor.
Also, until the decongestant works, sleep sitting up. (like in a chair, recliner or bed with lots of pillows.) Lying down only makes the vertigo worse.
Sorry about your problems! That vertigo certainly does suck! But the decongestant (like Sudafed) will dry you up and work well.
Yes. you should see your doctor immediately as this could be congestive/heart related. It could also be that a bug has gotten stuck inside your ear. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it happens on occasions. Make the appointment ASAP as a professional can look at your ear and tell you what it is. The vertigo is NOT something to ignore or make "do" with some ear drops. The pressure is probably being caused by whatever is blocking your ear. Be safe and see your doc. Guard Dog

try a decongestant .If that doesnt work try holding your nose and blowing out it afew times
if you still have the problem sounds like you need to see a doctor
